Los Angeles Sports

Los Angels is a great place for visitors. It not only homes some of the worlds greatest attractions but is also a great place for adventure seekers. The city offers plenty of opportunities for fishing, biking as well as golf. There are beautiful as well as challenging paths that the bikers would love to pedal on where as the lush green well maneuvered Golf course’s are a delight to play in. One’s interested in fishing are in for a good surprise as there are some places where you can get great catches. So come and discover the wide world of active pursuits that Los Angeles has to offer.

Biking

Los Angeles is considered to be bikers paradise. Great for biking, there are some of the excellent paths that are recommended by most. For those who love to go to for long stretches then they can opt in for flat 22-mile paved Ocean Front Walk that moves along the sand from Pacific Palisades in the north to Torrance in the south. Mountain Biking
Some of the best areas to mountain bike is along the trails of Malibu Creek State Park -Tel. 800/533-7275 or 818/880-0350), in the Santa Monica Mountains between Malibu and the San Fernando Valley.

They rent 10-speed cruisers for $7 per hour and $16 per day; 15-speed mountain bikes rent for $8 per hour and $20 per day.

Fishing

Los Angeles, the city that moves at a great pace also offers plenty sporting fast moving city The ideal place to fish in Los Angels is Del Rey Sport Fishing, 13759 Fiji Way Tel. 310/822-3625. It has four deep-sea boats that leave daily on half- and full-day ocean fishing trips. Some of the usual catches here include bass, barracuda, halibut, and yellowtail. if you want to go on an excursionist will cost you round about $22 to $30; tackle rental is available.
The best saltwater fishing spot in all of L.A. is at the foot of Torrance Boulevard in Redondo Beach.

Golf

Rancho Park Golf Course

Centrally located in the middle of L.A.'s Westside, this is one of the most beautiful courses here. This par-71 course has lots to offer right from the scenic beauty to the amenities and the facilities offered from the course. Rancho also has a nine-hole, par-3 course.

Griffith Park
(Northeast of Hollywood.)
Get ready for a woody experience in the three courses here in Griffith Park.
Well groomed, all these courses are a delight to play in. You often witness
Wildlife like deer, rabbits, raccoons, and skunks (fore!) early morning.

Industry Hills Golf Club

Designed by William Bell, the club has two 18-hole courses. With picturesque scenery, the courses include eight lakes, 160 bunkers, and many long fairways.
