Weather

Despite experiencing the desert climate LA does not have extreme temperatures and humidity. This is because of the mountain ranges to its north and east. August and September are the hottest months where as January and February are the coolest and the wettest. The average temperature here is around 70ºF or 21ºC. The temps rises up to 90ºF or 32ºC in summers and the winter days can get well over 55ºF or 12ºC. Beaches are the liveliest during summers where the off shore breeze makes them cooler in summer and warmer in winters.
